This site complies with the rules enforced by GDPR
The GDPR requires you (the user of this site) to agree with us (DBFree.org representives) about the use of
the data we collect about you. This data are defined as any information related to a natural person
or ‘Data Subject’, that can be used to directly or indirectly identify the person.
It can be anything from a name, a photo, an email address, bank details, posts on social networking websites,
medical information, or a computer IP address.
Our privacy policy (please read)
DBFree is a free product, brought to you in hope it will be useful. It is completely free and DBFree.org has no revenue
except the anonymous funding provided sometime by users. We don't collect informations about you except the IP
address you're connecting from (and this only because we are requestested to do so by anti-terrorism laws).
We find this regulation (GDPR) excessive, overwhelming in complexity and costs and substantially useless. Thus we will
simply drop from this site any personal information about you, to avoid to run into a complexity of web management we
find absurd and chaotical.
Thus there will be no data about you conserved on our servers and your access will be - from now on - only and
always anonymous.
This also means that we won't be able to provide personalized services as well as registration as users.
These features will be provided, eventually, on a separate site and under commercial license.
How this will affect you
In facts for all visitors (as well as most users) there will be no changes. Only one more annoyance imposed by the
politics and their fear of internet. Large firms won't have any problems to fit the requirements of GDPR, while still
being absolutely free to collect, process and eventually sell your data and profiles to anyone they like. Problems come only
to small, enthusiast-based no-profit entities like DBFree.org
DBFree will turn any Windows PC into a web and database server within seconds, so you can
publish your contents to the web or collect data from remote users, including mobile devices.
DBFree is extremely lightweight, easy to use, ready to go out-of-the-box, low resources demanding and
installs literally in seconds.
DBFree is for creating and run complex web applications
with built-in database access, using any home PC or cloud server.
DBFree engine can also be used to add server-side scripting capabilities and
database-driven pages to existing static sites either using its own embedded server or
running within Microsoft IIS7/8/10.
DBFree can also be used to build static websites almost without coding HTML simply by producing
it using MaxScript xBase-like code.
But you can also write portable DB APPS, self-contained web applications
intended for easy distribution to customers and which will use DBFree only as runtime.
